Though he’s been bouncing around LA for nearly a full decade, Canadian pop crooner Justin Bieber has only ever owned one house down here. Back in 2012, while still in his teens, he infamously (and briefly) owned a huge Mediterranean McMansion-sorta thing out in Calabasas.
After several highly-publicized altercations with at least two of his neighbors — including a downright terroristic egg-hurling incident “heard ’round the world” — the Biebs sold the property in early 2014 for $7.2 million to its current owner, reality TV superstar Khloe Kardashian.

In the five years since, Mr. Bieber has — perhaps wisely — forgone home ownership in favor of a series of high-priced rentals. But now that the 25-year-old is all growed up and recently married to a lovely young lass named Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), he’s feelin’ the urge to put down some property roots once again.

However, just because he hasn’t bought anything does not mean Mr. Bieber ain’t been looking. On the contrary — over the past few years, Mr. Bieber has browsed scores of homes all over the greater LA area. Brentwood, Encino, Bel Air, the Hollywood Hills. At one point he was looking in oddball, far-flung locations — Thousand Oaks, Pasadena and Bradbury Estates. He reportedly nearly bought a Hidden Valley compound and even toured a big mansion out in Glendora.
In the end, however, Mr. Bieber was finally reeled in by the Platinum Triangle‘s perennial allure. Records show he has just closed on a “Transitional” style home in Beverly Hills, on a quiet and unassuming cul-de-sac just off the main Benedict Canyon drag. There are only five other properties on this street, none of which are owned by celebrities. (The one possible exception in the house immediately next door, which is occupied by 92-year-old retired actress Barbara Rush.)
Mr & Mrs. Bieber’s new digs additionally back directly up to two very fancy houses — one of them owned by 26-year-old heiress/producer Erika Olde and the other owned by her mother Susan Olde. And just a couple doors away is David Geffen’s massive Jack Warner estate, which makes the new Bieber place look rather akin to a garden shed. A very, very tiny garden shed.
Anyway, the 1932-built house was originally constructed in the Monterey Colonial architectural style and owned for over 50 years by the same family. Two years ago, the property was sold for $4.5 million to investor Greg Hebner. Our boy then hired Hollywood-based designer Charles Infante to completely rebuild and expand the ol’ gurl into the 6,000+ square foot showplace she is today. Records reveal Mr. & Mrs. Bieber coughed up a hefty $8,500,000 for the keys.

While not particularly big, the 0.2-acre gated property is perfect for a young couple/family. There’s a two-car attached garage and a secure, pebble-filled courtyard ringed by gorgeous olive trees.
Out back, this pad is primed for a private party. Check out the negative-edge swimming pool with its nifty waterfall feature, plus a cabana with outdoor fireplace for chilly nights. And let’s not forget the convenient strip of grass for Fido’s romps (and his dirty business).

We don’t know if the Biebers are big readers. But we do know they are Evangelical Christians. Thus, Yolanda is sure they’ll both appreciate the library, with its paneled walls painted an interesting shade of blue. Such a lovely atmosphere for some Bible-studyin’ or devotionals, right?
White oak flooring runs throughout the home, and slabs of book-matched marble in the living room and kitchen add a touch of glitzy pizazz. Speaking of the kitchen, it’s got a massive center island with eat-in seating and opens (via Steelcase windows) to the backyard.

Off the kitchen is a step-down family room, and (down in the lower level) is a Art Deco-inspired wet bar/wine storage area. Somewhere there’s also a home theater. In all, the three-level structure has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, with the master suite featuring vaulted ceilings and a fireplace.
And just for giggles, here’s how this same house looked back in 2017:

Quite a transformation, eh?
Mazel tov on your new digs, Mr. & Mrs. Bieber. In addition to the folks we’ve already mentioned, some other homeowners in your immediate neighborhood include supermarket billionaire Ron Burkle, LA Rams owner Stan Kroenke & Ann Walton, and Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott.
